Bernard Mendez,
Co-Founder

Bernard started his first website as an 11-year-old in the age of dial-up. He studied at the Illinois Institute of Technology where he was elected as the Student Government VP of Finance in a school-wide election.

After graduation, Bernard joined the Army as a logistics officer where he deployed across the world and served as a parachute jumpmaster with the 1st and 3rd Special Forces group for 7 years before moving on to the tech world. He went back to his roots and jumped back into tech working at Amazon before leaving big tech to work on Retinus LLC.

Cory Perry,
Co-Founder

Cory worked for 5 years as a web developer before enlisting in the Army and serving as a Green Beret for 10 years with the U.S. Army Special Forces. Cory is passionate about addressing the growing need for security in today’s connected world of technology. 

Cory spent most of his military career as a Green Beret on a Special Reconnaissance Detachment which allowed him to develop innovative ways for his team to communicate and keep their data secure. Utilizing the same discipline and commitment toward security, Cory leverages his experiences to help people conquer today’s complicated technology challenges.

David Lewis

David brings over 12 years of experience specializing in finance, operations, and strategy. He is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Circumspect Capital, a lower middle-market buyout fund. Beginning his career in public accounting at PwC, David has worked in various capacities within private equity, law, and entrepreneurship. David also ran day-to-day operations for a Nasdaq-listed manufacturing company. There, David was instrumental in executing the Boards and CEO’s turnaround strategy. As a board member of Retinus, David brings to the team guidance and support in matters of strategy, contract negotiation, and sales.
